Official 2016 NFL Draft Thread! [MERGED] (1 Viewer)

nkemdiche has 4 sacks in a little over 2 years.

He also only has 3 tackles for loss and a half sack so far.

Oh my mistake.

Brb calling all the SEC coaches and telling them to stop double/triple teaming nkemdiche because he sucks.

Nobody is saying he sucks, people are just wondering where this production was the past few years. He was billed as the next big thing, and (now) he is finally living up to the billing.

Another note to mention, Bama's line isn't the same line that starred Womack, Jones, etc. this o-line hasn't been overly impressive.

Nkemdiche was in the backfield all night against Bama even while getting doubled and tripled. Look, I get the point and I also believe production matters. But I also know he can beat just about any guard/center in the league RIGHT NOW. You bring a guy like him in and place him on the d line, cam Jordan a kikaha are instantly way more productive. Nkemdiche would be gold for us.

Nobody is saying he can't be an epic dt/de in the NFL, but what we are saying is that we want a larger sample size than the Bama game.

IMHO, I think he will show over the season that he is a legit top 3 pick, but right now he is somewhere in the top 6, but not top 3.

He showed some quickness in making 2.5 tfl.

Roosevelt Nix had a similar game against Bama 2 years ago.

If he can keep up the same production for the rest of the season I'll be convinced. As of right now, I wouldn't put him in the same draft class as Peria Jerry, and least of all being discussed as #1 like a Glenn Dorsey.

His body-type is built more as an exclusive 4-3 player.

Javon Hargrave, DT from South Carolina State is a TERROR! He is by far the best small school prospect in the country.

The saints passed on burners like Phillip Dorsett, Devin Smith, Breshad Perriman, Tyler Lockett and Sammie Coates this year.

Here are examples of some Deep threats that they are likely to pass on next year.:bigok:

Don't worry we'll play just well enough this year to pick outside of the top 10 but not well enough to have a respectable year.

And then they'll pick a Tackle or a backup for Vaccaro in round 1.

I honestly need to watch more film of him at this point.

I understand that he is supposed to be a phenomenal athlete and posted decent numbers on the season last year but I haven't gotten around to an in-depth analysis. He's fast from what I remember from last year but I need to observe how well his pursuit discipline and instinct are before assigning a definitive grate.

As for lineman, Landon Turner looks the part of a solid guard but no one will mistake him for Terron Armstead in space.

I Think they'll target interior linemen again and perhaps a right tackle.

Deon Bush was a safety that I liked last year.
