Official 2021 Quarterback Draft Class and In Season Scouting Thread (2 Viewers)

2019 Cook was an investment and definite upgrade
2020 Sanders was an investment and definite upgrade

Not to mention drafting and then re-signing MT.

I'd say investments have been made. One bad games does not a busted season make
Yeah and unlike seasons past they have no true designated split end like Meachem, Henderson, Ted Ginn or Joe Morgan.

Thomas and Sanders are well and good but they are natural Flankers and slot guys.

Teams seem to be ignoring anything deep right now. Why spend a second round pick on someone to run wind sprints?

Because guys like that (Meachem & Henderson) helped bring home the Lumbardi.

Qb isn't the issue with the deep ball.

The lack of a true, consistent, outside play-maker(s) like this is

It's the reason everyone thinks Rogers has made a magical resurgence.

There's nothing magic about it.

He finally has again what Jordy Nelson gave him 10 years ago.

Same with Rothlisberger and Claypool/Martavis Bryant.

Deep threats never seem like a big deal until they are.

Why would they care about anything deep?

It's not like they have have someone like this to worry about anymore.

Meanwhile in Pittsburgh and Seattle....

Kyle Trask is having a pretty decent game against Ole Miss. Still not a big fan of his mechanics, but he's still pretty raw with room to grow.

He may turn out to be a solid 3rd round guy.

So you are saying Valdes-Scantling a 5th round pick that has been in the league for 3 years and has 1190 and 5 touchdowns in his career gets credit for “turning” Aaron Rodgers career around !?! 😂

Nix from Auburn is sooo bad.

Trask has took a step from last year if I remember correctly. Improved ball placement. Improve reads. Throw in some tight windows. Beautiful back shoulder.

He's still a statue in the pocket at time. Not really impressed by his zip on his throws.

Need full game film.

Somebody is going to draft Ehlinger in the 2nd round.

Myles going to have some growing pains as expected for a QB that hasn't started in 4 years.

If Sam can finish his hot starts in games. He can probably climb into top of the 2nd. His ability to come out of the gate on fire is rare, but he tends to cool off badly in 2nd halves.

KJ can make some tight throws.

Really bad series for KJ.

This is just an ugly up and down game from KJ and Myles.

You know standard for QB play is low when Myles Brennan might have best paper stat 1st start in LSU history.
