A bit harsh, he has had zero help todayRattler is exactly who we knew he was. A 5th rounder for a reason.
Garbage.
We have so much to address and it won't happen in 1 year.

New Orleans media will never be hard on the Saints management. They are in their back pocket. Here is once again to the local media…time to step up and put the hot coals under the Saints FO and demand to know how they are going to fix this mess. Now’s the time for that incase if they were waiting for a signal or sign.
One thing I’ll say is Rizzi is definitely done after this game regardless of next week.
Except that he's been under pressure the entire game so he's a bit off on some of his throws. But he hit the guy in both hands so it shouldn't have gotten passed him. Maybe he doesn't come down with it, but not passed him. It’s a bad throw. Zero reason to make a WR leave his feet and high point a ball when he is just standing there for a first down. It’s a pattern of unnecessary high/hard throws.
If those throws are from a well protected pocket.I like Rattler. I think he has potential and he’s had a lot of dropped passes. But he’s also had some really bad throws that should be automatic at this level.
We have to start fresh. He won’t be the coach next year. And he will end up somewhere good and be fine. I respect what he has done with the hand he was given. No hate for Rizz. That should do it for Rizzi.
Rattler had his moments, but he has been bad. Many of his throws have been off target, some of his throws were late, he continues to choose the wrong receivers, and he should have 3 ints.Rattler hasn’t been bad today (and I’m not exactly a fan). The rest of the team has SUCKED……
He absolutely has ball location issues have seen that from him since college but I think an offseason of coaching dedicated to breaking his bad footwork can help that. It’s a bad throw. Zero reason to make a WR leave his feet and high point a ball when he is just standing there for a first down. It’s a pattern of unnecessary high/hard throws.

I still remember my dad and his brother getting so mad about that. The good news is, you could have been a Saints fan during this era and trying to explain this away:
"In 1979, Erxleben was drafted in the first round (11th pick overall) by the New Orleans Saints, listed as both a kicker and a punter."
