It was Payton's recommendation. And, Payton brought Allen here and forced him onto Rob Ryan. A very Payton douche move. Payton went out of his way to set this up.

What happened the 3rd game? McCoy went down, Taysom went down, all of the sudden the offense could not score more than 13 points.

Now, sure, with all of the injuries, it'd be a minor miracle if they score 10, but even so, there is no indication that any adjustments have been made at any point.
