Shows what could happen if we trade down. Bad scenario.

Not necessarily. Datone Jones is a solid addition, Patterson (the top WR in most's eyes) is available. Trufant is a solid CB, plenty of options.

Did Demontre Moore's 40 yard dash improve from 4.95? If not, yikes.

I voted Patterson, BPA. Saints simply cannot pass on Patterson if he is there at 21.

this is almost a worst case scenario. it wont happen though, i alot of those guys were taken too early. But i went with Moore

I would argue Moore is the BPA. Football is played in pads, not in shorts.

Can we really get anything better trading down? Trufant or Minter may not be bad pick.

Moore or Minter here. I picked Moore but as I think about it I am lean towards Minter. That way we could cut Hawthrone and let Vilma walk next year with no problems.

I love Minter on tape. Down hill, attacking, great read/react time, sheds blocks well, adequate in coverage, would be a great tandem with Lofton.

Trufant wouldnt be a bad pick either.

I think Minter and Lofton are one in the same and would play the same SILB position.

I am torn... I like Datone Jones a LOT here to fill a need. But Patterson is the BPA . Patterson is a freak of nature that I do not know I could pass on

I can't believe we are actually about to have Moore win this poll. :spit: :spit:

I voted Carradine, who I think is clear cut better than anyone on this list. Patterson can't run routes to save his life. It's been beaten to death but he's good with the ball in his hands, but getting it to him is a task. I think this is too high for Allen. Datone Jones is a legit pick and would be my choice if Carradine wasn't on here. Hankins is a pure NT in my opinion, an position where we have two starters already - also, he had a bad senior season and is a bit overrated as a pass rusher. Minter is probably the 3rd best player on this list after Tank and Datone, but wouldn't be a good choice here since we have Lofton on a big deal at that exact position. Watson is interesting, but a huge project and probably wouldn't play much this year. Damontre Moore in my opinion is a bad option here - I would be open to picking him maybe if we had a #1 option because I think Moore is more of a complimentary rusher than a primary guy.
