WHO DAT, Saints Nation, WHO DAT!!! Our 5-1 and NFC South division leading New Orleans Saints are up north in The Windy City to play the 3-2 Chicago Bears.

Since Teddy Bridgewater replaced Drew Brees at QB, his leadership, along with the Saints team as a whole resulted in their current four-game winning streak, and the Saints and Bridgewater will attempt to win five straight games this afternoon in Chicago.

New Orleans has won the last four regular season games over Chicago in games played in 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2017, outscoring the Bears in those games 107-58, and resulting in the all-time series tied evenly between the teams at 15 games apiece. A Saints win in Chicago today would lead the series for New Orleans by one game.

New Orleans defeated Chicago 20-12 in both teams recent regular season meeting played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome back on October 29, 2017. Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram scored touchdown runs from 8-yards and 1-yard, followed by two PAT's and two field goals from 45 and 49 yards in the fourth quarter by Will Lutz for the 20-12 final.

Cincinnati Reds TV Play-By-Play Broadcaster Thom Brennaman, and former University Of Oklahoma, UCLA, and Dallas Cowboy QB Troy Aikman are announcing the live TV game commentary, along with sideline reporter and interviewer Erin Andrews, for The NFL On FOX's primary late doubleheader game, seen in two-thirds of the Continental USA, and locally on WVUE FOX Channel 8, seen live on HD.

Mostly sunny skies at 55 degrees, feels like 53 degrees, is the local gamecast inside Soldier Field, for the 3:25 PM Central Standard Time kickoff, along with 0% precipitation, 74% humidity, and east/northeast winds at 7 miles per hour.

Head referee Shawn Novak leads his NFL officiating crew to supervise the live game action on the playing field between the Saints and Bears.

Saints and Bears players, their coaching and support staffs and all NFL teams during their scheduled games may continue to wear NFL authorized pink apparel and equipment to support the NFL's annual 'Crucial Catch' campaign to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month and their survivors.

NO injuries to both the Saints and Bears players as they compete on the playing field this afternoon, but we want to see New Orleans leave Chicago by winning both their fifth straight game, and a 6-1 record.

GEAUX SAINTS, and WHO DAT!!!!!

Tony Gonzalez just said the Lambs were the third best team in the NFC behind the 49ers and Seachickens. He’s been smoking something a little early today.

Edit: Now, 45 minutes later talking about the Saints, we are the best team in the NFC.

Can u imagine us defeating the bears, at home, w/o Brees and Kamara?! Good lord, what would the talking heads have to talk about then?,,..,other than dissecting, ‘ how they other team lost.’

Not long to go until kickoff now. My 1st season as a Saints fan(2006) and indeed as an NFL fan ended in defeat at Soldier Field, since then I've always disliked the Bears. I hope the Saints can somehow come away with a win today. If we do it will perhaps be our biggest victory of the season so far, considering the circumstances.

For us to win ... Teddy is going to have to make some plays for us .

he doesn’t need to win the game but he may need to make some tough throws
