WHO DAT, Saints fans, WHO DAT!!!!! Our New Orleans Saints both begin their preseason schedule, and their 50th year in the National Football League, as the Saints are in Foxborough, Massachusetts to play the New England Patriots. Patriots reportedly will sit out QB Tom Brady in tonight's contest.
Sean Payton begins his 10th NFL season as our Saints Head Coach, and the Saints also begin the 41st NFL season playing their home games at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.,
Tonight will also be the debut of the Saints 2016 Draft Class on the playing field, including first round draft pick Sheldon Rankins from the University Of Louisville, Vonn Bell, Daniel Lasco, David Onyemata, and Michael Thomas.
Joel Meyers, Sean Kelley, and John Stinchcomb, are announcing the live TV game commentary on flagship station WVUE FOX Channel 8 in New Orleans, and the Saints Preseason Television Network.
Jim Henderson and former Saints running back Deuce McAllister are also announcing all Saints games, along with sideline reporter and interviewer Kristan Garic, on flagship station WWL 870AM and 105.3FM, and throughout the Gulf Coast on the Saints Radio Network.
Mostly cloudy skies at 91 degrees, feels like 99 degrees, is the game forecast for the 6:35PM Central Standard Time kickoff from Gillette Stadium, along with 15% precipitation, 52% humidity, and southwestern winds at 10 miles per hour.
NO injuries, as we see both the Saints and Patriots start to compete for the 53-man regular season roster during the preseason schedule. GEAUX SAINTS, and WHO DAT!!!!!
