But hey, at least the men's and women's tag team divisions are on fire right now, so breaking up the Iconics and Heavy Machinery were obviously the right moves./sarcasm

I'm a little surprised Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander weren't on that list.

Speaking of which, why in the heck did WWE break up the Hurt Business, only to seemingly add the 2 dudes from Retribution to Lashley/MVP like two weeks later? Makes no sense.

Because the company is run by an insane elderly man who is flush with cash and has zero accountability to book a coherent company.

Even if Joe still isn't medically cleared to compete, couldn't/shouldn't they have kept him on commentary?

And was it NXT last week when he did some backstage interviews? I thought that was a cool thing that they should use him for more.

It was a different dynamic having a competitor and intimidator (when he wants to be) in that role. I bet he could have been awesome doing that since he knows what it's like to be interviewed, and how to cut an awesome promo.
The speculation is that he wants to wrestle and the E won't clear him, so it may have been mutual. Again, just speculation. I'm sure we'll learn more in the coming days.

Yeah, he doesn’t seem too broken up about it on Twitter. He tweeted the Jim Carey gif from Truman show, where Truman smiles, bows, and walks out the door.

Tucker has tweeted “Freedom baby” and “Looking forward to telling my story.”

Samoa Joe never being WWE champ is a freaking joke.
Any company that gives Jinder fudgin pimple back mahal a world title reign and not Samoe goshdarn Joe one deserves to be pooped on.
Vince is a freaking idiot. This is why WWE doesn't make new stars. Joe should have went over Brock at GBOF how ever many years ago (like Brock and Paul H. wanted) and boom, new star. But Nooooooo, we gotta get Roman vs. Brock for the umpteenth time and he never really recovered from it.
I just can't with WWE. sheesh.

Please go to AEW Joe. We need a legitimate counter the WWE nonsense.
Joe vs. Mox
Joe vs. Omega
Joe vs. Jericho
Joe vs. Cody
Joe vs. freakin anyone will be good.

could you guys imagine Joe in New Japan??? Joe vs. Ishii would be insane. Joe vs Okada or Ibushi.
On second thought.....Thanks WWE!!!!

AEW should go after all four of the women released today. That division needs some experienced talent.

Yeah they really should. AEW women's division needs some star power and a few vets to bring along all the new girls.
Mickie james would be a huge locker room additon and the Iconics would be a great team/duo. I don't know much about Green.

BTW, where the heck is Ember Moon?? is she in NXT? or just not on TV? Imagine her in AEW. They really dropped the ball on her. I don't get it either, she was an NXT creation no??

Oh and didn't the E just release Andrade??? man him in AEW along with Joe would be money. They had some really good matches in NXT.

The biggest issue with Green is she is injury prone. Ember is NXT Women's tag Champ with Shotzi.

Ahhhh O.k. cool. You can tell I haven't watched NXT in awhile. At least she is on TV and has some gold. Glad she is back in NXT cause they killed her on the main roster.

Yeah, the promo wars Joe could have with some of those guys in AEW is pretty exciting (lots of good in-ring matches too).

I don't know too much about New Japan, but I've heard from many who do that there are a ton of fantasy matchups there.

Yes, absolutely. Him and Jericho going against each other on the mic would be just $.

But yeah New Japan just fits his style. NJPW is very physical and intense, which is joe to a T. Lot more striking and mat wrestling than just high flying action, although they have that.
Samoa Joe vs. Tomihiro Ishii could me like the most physical match ever. Those two would just beat the snot out of each other for like 20 minutes. No flips...just fists. Ha!
