I never got the infatuation with Edwards. There was always something just plain creepy about the guy. He just always struck me as a slimeball. And I've thought that ever since the first time I saw him speak - I had no reason to think that. It was just an impression I got from him.

And in succeeding years, I simply never saw a reason to think that initial impression was wrong.

And he is a major reason for such high malpractice insurance. He was sue-happy against doctors and pharma companies.

Then when he got into politics, he blocked soooo much medical research and medicines being approved by the FDA.

It is pretty telling that he couldn't even win his home state in the primaries.

Thing is, he just got caught.

This could easily be David Vitter, or 9 out of 10 others we don't know about. But they were smarter or luckier...
