The Saints won’t have much cap space, but they’ll still likely look to be active in free agency. That said, let’s look at one Buccaneer they may consider signing.
It’s going to be a hectic next few months for the New Orleans Saints.
Mickey Loomis will have his hands full trying to navigate the team’s cap space situation. The Saints rank dead last in cap space and have already cleared $30 million with the restructuring of Drew Brees‘ contract and the releasing of Nick Easton.
That said, the Saints, who, like every other team, will look to improve their roster, may have their options limited. One of the players that just won a Super Bowl with the Bucs that they could target is Rakeem Nunez-Roches.
Nunez-Roches would help supplement the void that will undoubtedly be left when Sheldon Rankins eventually parts ways with the team. Players like Rankins, Trey Hendrickson, and Marcus Williams may head elsewhere and force the Saints to find cheaper replacements. ...
