Since we were trying to bring in Aso, I assume we have room for 1 more free agent. I don't now the going price for these guys, but I would not mind seeing one of them come to the Big Easy.

OT- Andre Smith ; Bryant McKinnie ; Eric Winston

CB- Antoine Winfield ; I don't want Woodson

LB- Harrison (on the fence about but kick the tires) ; Karlos Dansby ; Shaun Phillips

S - Landry ; Rhodes (both would be good depth at least)

The bold guys I think would do well here for a year or two.

Mckinnie would be nice, I like Harrison, he was injured the first part of last year, but I like Abraham even more, but there are tons of OLB's in this draft, same with OT talent. hope we get lucky and find another big corner and safety in the draft.

I don't know if Smith will be to expensive. Vollmer's (who is arguably better) new contract has him making 1.25 million with no bonus and a couple incentives that add up to another million if he plays 90% of the snaps and makes the probowl. It really only goes up a little for the next three years as well.

If we weren't considering Ogletree, then I'd say we should go after Shaun Phillips. But I'd rather have Ogletree at SOLB. So I guess McKinnie would b ideal

Are you referring to Dawan Landry or laron Landry?

Ogletree would be a WILB, not a SOLB.

He can play all 4 LB spots n he has potential as an edge rusher. Plus his coverage ability is top notch n we could use that more on the outside. His main weakness is rush defense n that would b less of an issue on the outside. We prolly need more insurance at SOLB n we already have atleast a 3 man rotation on the inside spots. If we draft him, I doubt they'll put him at WILB

Vollmer did not sign for $1.25 million. While I think his contract was a bargain (and would have loved the Saints to sign him for that), it was not that much of a bargain. Most contracts have a low first year base, but you cannot ignore the remaining years or the signing bonus.
