Somehow this came up in discussion at the house the other day of what movie prop we'd most like to own. Not in terms of resale, just what iconic thing from a movie would you most want to own or display or show off (no houses or cars).
Conan's Atlantean sword was up near the top of my list. I remember about 15 years ago that went up on auction with a bunch of other items and I think was expected to get $20,000. If I had it to do all over again, I'd definitely try to beg, borrow, and steal enough to get it. Oh well, will probably never see again.
I also thought an iconic instrument would be cool (the guitar from Django would have been nice if Russell hadn't have smashed it to bits). But maye Audrey Hepburn's guitar in Breakfast at Tiffany's or something.
