What are some of the best ones to use? Who do you use? And who has the best fees? I have a TD waterhouse account from along time ago, but never put any money in it. And was trying to decide if i was going to use them now I am ready to invest. Any input would be great.

I use Scottrade. $7 fee per transaction. Never had any customer service problems, and it's easy to use.

If you decide to go with them, let me know. If someone refers you, both you and the referrer get 3 free trades.

I agree with the above post. When I was looking into it a couple years ago, I found Scottrade to be the best option. I eventually balked and opened up a money market fund instead.

I agree about Scotttrade. I use USAA because it is just so much easier since I have my IRA, Checkings and Savings there. It is $11.95 per trade but if you do enough trading with them it drops down to $5.95 per trade. I have no idea how much trading that would require.
