And before everyone freaks out about "why we're not spending it," wait until all our draft picks are signed and contract extensions (Colston? Smith? Evans?) are done.
 
Yeah , but tampa is in our division and a playoff team with more, and they don't have to spend on a top ten pick
 
That means we can concentrate on pre-signing next years FAs, THIS YEAR. Lock in Colston to a nice 5 year contract. Who else do we need to lock in?

I'd give Big Smooth Coltson a 5 year deal with about 20 million in guaranteed money - Total contract 35 million
 
Just remember......if the Saints do not extend the deals of the marquee players you folks speak of, that cap money is lost (or put into Benson's pockets). Cap money is not carried over from year to year.
 
they said bucs have to spend at LEAST 28 million....who the hell is left to spend that kind of money on???
