Opinions through 3 games. (1 Viewer)

The sad thing is that the Pelicans are no closer to being a contender now than last year. I suppose that could change in another two or three years, but all the hype in the world won't move New Orleans higher in the standings.

I was truly looking forward to going see some Pels games this year, but I hate long drives home after a loss. This must be what Falcons fans feel like.

This will all be a test of David Griffin's mettle. How far does the franchise sink before he makes a stop-the-bleeding move?

I mean ... did Griffin and the team's braintrust sort-of-kind-of expect the Pelicans to be terrible early on, even with all the "Won't Bow Down!" noise and off-season press clippings? Did they know it would be really rocky for a few months?
