They just asked him on First Take something like "if you don't end up staying with the Giants, name some teams you would like to play for". His very first answer, without any hesitation, was the New Orleans Saints.

Does he know Spags is gone?

And that we're running a 3-4 next year?

Just sayin'.

I'd be willing to give him a look if he wants to come real cheap.

I saw that too. He said Saints, then hesitated and named other teams. I guess he's enjoying the Big Easy!

At 6-3 255 pounds, I can certainly see him being capable of playing OLB in a 3-4.

Something tells me that he may have been picturing this for awhile now, because we had Spags. Maybe, despite the firing, he still loves the situation and had already married himself to the idea of playing in N.O.

He's no less capable of playing OLB in a 3-4 than Junior Gallette is.

If there isn't a lot of interest I could see it. Loomis works the cap well enough to cheaply got him in if there's no one outbidding us.

Does Payton want to see him work on a transition to a 3-4 end though?

If we were still running a 4-3, I'd be all for it. Don't know how he'll do otherwise. Might be worth a look though.

Osi would have been perfect last year, but he'll tie up too much cash for an experiment (in the 3-4). I'd rather get some young, cheap legs.
