Our father, Grant Reggie the Strength and Confidence! (1 Viewer)

You can also use Coach Payton's version of Lt. Colonel Hall Moore's prayer.

Our Father in Heaven, before we take the field, every player among us will approach you each in his own way. Our opponents too, according to their own understanding, will ask for protection and for victory. And so, we bow before your infinite wisdom. We offer our prayers as best we can. I pray you watch over these young players that I lead onto the field. You use me as your instrument in this brutal game to watch over them. Especially if they're men like the ones beside me, deserving of a future in your blessing and goodwill. Amen.

Oh, yes, and one more thing, dear Lord, about our opponents, ignore their heathen prayers and help us blow those ******** straight off the field. Amen.

Does Reggie not start every game? I hope your not thinking that he will be our primary rusher because that would not be a good thing. I rather him continue with the role he has had in the first two game but just play better while letting PT and Hamilton handle pounding the ball.

"God does not control football games"

- Tony Dungy

But Tony lives by the Word and the Word controls his actions. His actions were used to help control the game ergo God does control football games or at least the Colt's games.

Give up some love guys. Reggie is starting and he is due. May God grant him the strength and more importantly the confidence to take this game over like we've all known him to do before and will continue to do. Amen!

You had the opportunity to help build this within another thread, but chose to start this one--prolly lemiting both. JMO

I hope he kills it like he did against the 49ers a couple of years a go...

143 rushing

3TDs

150 rush yards, 75 receiving yards and 3 TD's(1 receiving, 1 rushing and 1 returning).

I don't get it. Why is everyone so concerned about Reggie this week? Has something happened recently that I missed? Has he gotten threatened with benching or told he will be released if he doesn't perform against the Bills? He'll get up to speed people, just give him a little time. He didn't play a down in all of pre-season, and running agaisnt your teammates in practice is a little different than running against other players who want to kill you come crunch time.
