We're in strange waters as we'll be without our primary WR for the first time in years. In the past we were known as the type of offense that will spread the ball around. Do you see us going back to that, or will that mean more touches for Cook, Kamara & eventually Sanders?

Judging from what I saw it seems that the Saints D is capable of putting the team on its back and played better against T.B better than i could've imagined. They played mean, nasty and aggressive while staying mostly disciplined.

At the end of the day in between the Bradys first touchdown drive and last one very late in garbage time Brady wasn't able to accomplish much.

If the Saints D keeps this up N.O should be able to get to the bye week at 5-0 without M.T. The game that might give N.O the most trouble is Green Bay. But I think the Saints have enough offensive fire power to get past them. Hopefully in the mean time the Saints get Ruiz, Davenport and P.J Williams back. It'll keep the lines fresh, highly talented and deep at all times.

We all know Payton will do some wild schemes and plays, moreso than normal, to make-up for CGM loss. I wouldn't be surprised to see him lineup with essentially 3-TEs in the game: Cook, Taysom Hill and Trautman with one RB and Sanders at WR. I expect Deonte Harris to get more touches especially WR screens and reverses. SP may go conservative like he did when Brees was out and let the defense shine followed by a pounding ball control and West Coast offense using Cook or Hill for the long-ball.

I don’t want to be too confident, but my hope is that the diligence we had in free agency and a commitment to the running game will get us through this.

Yeah, agreed. I see most of the takes focused on how they spread the catches around but I really think (or maybe hope is the better word) LM will get more carries in the run game....I do think Harris will see more touches and Sanders will also... we will see....

I hope we don’t force it to Kamara too much. He is awesome, but not when the opponents know it’s coming. We have a lot of weapons andI have a feeling we will see Hill a little more this week!

Make no mistake losing Mike is a big deal. I do, however, believe that it will force Coach Payton to think out of the box and work harder to devise game plans to spread the ball around. Like last year with Teddy, this could strengthen our offense by making us a lot less predictable. I also think we have the needed people on the roster to make it work until Mike comes back. I just hope one or more of these guys with potential step up and seize the moment!

I’m hoping this is a painfully gross momentary medicine that benefits us all long term.

Force Coach Payton to really commit to the run, winning the field position battle, trusting the defense, and managing the clock. If those areas can become legitimate strengths early on, then our full strength potential would be all the more explosive in December, January, and (ahem) February.

I think if you consider that Hill is a TE then we are stacked at TE and that is a strength here. Traut needs to be ready for a handful of plays each week. I don't think there are many defenses that could prepare for all the TE combinations we could throw out there and there are only a couple of coaches that I would feel confident will find a way through this period. Thank God one of them is ours.

You all don’t know how good E. sanders is huh , I think a lot of you are about to find out he legit can give you 7-8 catches a game if need be and is effective in deep short and intermediate passes
