At most any team will have 2 regular season games in really cold/snowy weather
then there will be 2 weeks of playoffs with lots of cold/snow
and then the superbowl will (almost always) be in a dome or warm city
so those 2 playoff weeks feature a type of football that really is not part of the regular season
just doesn't make sense that some of the most important football is played under conditions that are applicable 8% of the time
it would be like playing basketball playoffs on outdoor courts until the Finals
and i know that mythically football fans are supposed to love this "frozen tundra" type (and lots of truck commercials) but it doesn't make sense
