I think I would pay to sit a few hours and watch people bounce into street poles while texting.

Another hit for taxpayers. The walking texters should have to mummify themselves in bubblewrap, better for everyone. Just poke a couple of breathing holes and leave the thumbs exposed for texting.

Put spikes on those poles, and I garantee you they wont run into them,

after the first time that is.

That is just money wasted. Sometimes we learn from pain. A knot on the head would serve as a reminder to watch where you are walking...or to stop and step off to the side when sending a text message.
