N/S Panthers are planning on trading Cam Newton when healthy (2 Viewers)

What is his actual trade value at this point?

Consider he's been out for the better part of 2 seasons now with first a significant Shoulder injury, and then a Lis Franc.

So a QB whose body has taken a severe toll physically, hasn't been healthy for essentially 2 seasons. You can't seriously expect to get 1st round value for him at this point still? Would any team be crazy enough to give that up, also considering IMO he was overrated as a passer to begin with.

A terrible franchise that wants to sell jerseys based on that short run from ‘13-‘15.

A couple months ago I posted on a thread that Ron Rivera probably got fired because Carolina was going to go in a different philosophical direction. They were going to bring in an offensive minded staff and try to bring in Teddy Bridgewater as a Q.B.

Now it's looking like a reality. They are probably going to draft a Q.B also, since Allen was just okay and Will Grier looked horrible In 2 games of action. I think against N.O before going out with an injury deep into the game he only passed for 9 yards.

The Burrow to Carolina talk seems to be picking up steam.

If Cincy was smart they would take the Panthers next two drafts and Cam and then hand over Burrow. The Panthers will be picking in the top 10 next season (no matter who is starting at qb) so the Bengals would end up with 2 top 10 picks, Cam (who will sell some tickets), and will still stay in a healthy draft spot to draft a Trevor Lawrence type qb next season.

I get your point on waiting for Trevor, but he doesn't give you the "it"homegrown dynamic that Burrow does. This is Le Bron being drafted by Cleveland, you can't pass on this. The only thing that might stop it is if Burrow demands a trade.

To get Burrow- they’d have to trade McCaffree, their 1st, 2nd, and maybe another pick

Dude couldn't even pass a physical right now so its a bit of non story IMO. If he's healthy by April maybe you'd get a 2nd for him. Dude is 30 years old and coming of 3 injury plagued seasons... Yes he was an MVP if you can even value that (Ah Drew has zero MVP's). MVP four seasons ago before the three injury plagued seasons mind you.

Cryolina is tanking for the Clemson QB. Next year they will be Cincy.
