When we walked toward the Superdome before the game, a Saints fan saw several Panthers fans and he talked to them (not rude but in a funny way), "Oh, we have some special fans today. Hey...saw a commercial?? Wanna get away??"

We and other Saints fans were laughing then. I knew it was not a classy way to treat our guests coming to New Orleans, but we just couldn't help.

Good natured ribbing of the opponents fans is fine, and even expected. What isn't classy is the yelling and screaming and cursing at them during the game. We are supposed to be the most congenial fans in the league and some of us definitely forgot to act like it Sunday...

That's ok...we know that you guys are'nt used to going to the playoffs and having winning seasons.
Enjoy it

I guess you can enjoy us dominating the Playoffs while your kitties are on the couch. With Payton&Brees you can get used to it!!!!

Well when one very brave...and annoying...Panther fan is going to stand up and make a scene every time the Panthers make a good play against our backups, I almost feel obliged to put him in his place by saying such things like "Who's playing in two weeks?" and "Have fun watching us in the Playoffs."

I went to the game. And my seats were in front of 4 of the LOUDEST panther fan girls I had ever heard IN MY LIFE. You can tell they were all drunk and they didn't know jack about football. It was like they're screams of WOOOOOOO!!!!! were at the highest pitch my ears can go. Their voices were the highest pitch ears can hear. And I had to hear it for 3 hours. They were like...

YEAA!!!!! GOOOOO STEVE SMITH!!!! (The Panthers were on defense). The guy sittin in front of us looked behind at them and was like, "they're on defense......."

Everyone was chanting WHO DAT SAY DEY GON BEAT DEM SAINTS.. and they would say CAROLINA GON BEAT DEM SAINTS!

and they would say WOOOOOO!! after every single play. Even after someone fair caught a punt or somethin. And they were louder than Saints fans when the panthers were on offense.

They had to be the most ANNOYING opposing teams' fans that I had to sit near for a Saints game.

Apparently you have never sat in front of Dallas fans
