My daughter is beginning to become aware of this Hannah Montana craze. So I checked her out on the NickelodeonTeen Choice Awards last night.

She's kind of a little skank, isn't she? I had this image of a wholesome non-Britney girl, but she looked just like Britney last night. Very disappointing.

Did I get an incorrect impression?

I understand your concern. My 9-year-old is like a crazed maniac when it comes to Hannah Montana. I think it is all innocent now but in 4 years, Miley Cyprus will be in rehab while her three children are staying with Papa Billy Ray. The entertainment industry will not be kind to her forever.

Never fear, Teen crazes never last very long.

From my oldest daughter going through the whole Punky Brewster makeover to my youngest daughter's Backstreet Boys crush, they came and they went.

Usually, by the time the latest craze merchandise reached overload proportions at the mall, my girls' interest had already moved on to something else.

"Hey, look at all the great MaryKate & Ashley stuff! You want a watch or a backpack?"

"Ewww, Dad! Like, gross. They are so, totally, like, yesterday. Duhhh."

"That settles it. You're getting all MaryKate & Ashely stuff for your birthday."

"DAD! NO! NO DAD! Seriously..."

I don't think she's a skank but she's definitely too ugly to be on TV. It's a good thing little girls like her because she'd go broke if she relies on her cuteness to make a living.

Most of it is WAY to seductive for any child. I wouldn't let my daughter listen to Miley Cyrus, unless I was ready 4 her to start having sex.

Her and her father seamed to have figured out sex sells and Billy Ray will trade his daughter for more.

No big deal. You censor it and it will make her find a way to watch it. Just remind your daughter how terrible all the shows on Disney actually are at every opportunity. Each one of them is the exact same show as the other with a slightly different protaganist - I'm talking That's So Raven, Sweet Life, Sister Sister, Even Stevens and Hannah Montana. They all suck. I have listened and I disagree. Most of her songs are positive, empowering (for girls under 10), clean and not sexy. My daughter is 7 and I don't have a problem at all with her looking up to Hannah Montana.

I see nothing about Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus indicating loose morals and skankihood. Just this week Foxnews was talking about how she has stayed "clean" in Hollywood. I don't get it...
