Alexander and Jay,

We are having our next Playground Partnership cleanup at Pontchartrain Park (520 Congress Drive) on November 18, 2006 from 10-1. This playground represents the largest effort to date and it would be great to have a lot of volunteers show up and help us out. The playground is in the Gentilly Woods/Pontchartrain Park neighborhood area and sustained a tremendous amount of damage from Hurricane Katrina. If you all could spread the word and make sure people know that this effort has been a really great success so far, I would appreciate it. As always, please contact me if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Broderick Green

I dont know how to post the pics on the thread but there is some serious damage to this park...

Everyone,

Please come out and help. The Ravens brought an entire bus load of people to the last one. I will post pictures of it when I get a chance. We did not have as many people as the Ravens brought.

It is not skilled work. We need a good showing. Come on out as they usually serve food (jambalaya last time) and I will bring beer. We can argue football with each other afterwards. :ezbill:

Its hard to believe that we cant get more volunteers than the visiting team..... guys come out and lend a hand and have some fun at the same time...

I agree but the Ravens fans definitely made us look bad as they had at least twice as many people as we did.

I suspect the same may happen with the Cincy fans if we do not get more of a response this time.

Come on people, come out and let's help clean up New Orleans and argue football after. I guarantee this after: :beeer:
