Dennard allegedly pushed and punched an officer in the face, and police say it took four officers to take him into custody.

He was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault on an officer and resisting arrest, and also third-degree assault in connection with the bar fight. The officer suffered minor injuries but did not seek medical attention, police say.

So, no independent documentation. Just sayin...

sorry as a retired police officer , i know what you mean . just hate to see any young man throw away his life for doing something stupid . i had a young tulane player strike me and another officer he was thrown off the team and out of the school. i wasnt happy that he struck me and my follow officer but even today i think what a waste all he had to do was relax and listen and maybe he would be in the pros.
striking a officer is never the right move .

With a comment like that, I can only assume you've had a few too many days sitting in a court room asking the judge for court appointed counsel.
