He is a fine player for sure, and if you ever go to Spain all you will see is Grizzlies stuff everywhere, in the shops and in the papers, but I'm pretty sure Gasol (Pau) wasn't happy there.
Will he play center or power forward in LA?

Great trade for Memphis. They're going nowhere and managed to clear Gasol and Swift's salaries today. Kwame Brown also expires after this year and they get two first round picks. Crittenton has shown he can contribute too so I definitely like what Memphis is doing.

I've caught a couple of Grizzlies games this season and they have been pretty awful. Gasol isn't the kind of player that can be a "go to" guy on a team but he'll compliment the Lakers well.....maybe too well. Rudy and Kyle are very fun to watch.....and Hakim is starting to play like we always thought he could.....they should be a fun team to watch in the future.
