Payton addresses Saints secondary concerns, praises many facets of offense from win over Panthers (1 Viewer)

Things were not looking good for the New Orleans Saints late in the first half Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.

The Panthers had taken a 17-14 lead with 1:37 to play in the half on a 7-yard touchdown pass from ex-Saints quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to DJ Moore.

Then came a patented Drew Brees drive.

Brees guided the Saints on an eight play, 75-yard drive and with two seconds to play in the half, Brees connected with Deonte Harris on a 4-yard touchdown pass to give the Saints a 21-17 lead at halftime.
