People need to stop turning a blind eye to Bush's follies because the Saints are winning, his fumble brought this game very close and he keeps putting the ball on the ground. Bush's issues with ball security must be addressed, mistakes like that cannot be made against a team that good. Reggie did have some good runs, but he needs to learn to protect the ball once he starts getting contact.

You saw how big Sanchez's mistakes cost them, Bush putting the ball on the turf turned into 7 for the Jets and took 17-3 to 17-10. The Saints won because they're one of the best teams in the NFL right now, but mistakes like those in a tight game in the playoffs can be the difference between a W and a L.

I like Bush, but he desperately needs to learn ball security.

He does need to work on ball security. And so does Thomas. Had it not been for Brees putting his body on the line, the Thomas fumble may have been even bigger than Bush's fumble. Still, you have to give some credit to the Jets. As we have now learned from having Gregg Williams, turnovers are created, they don't just happen.

I dont' know. It doesn't change the fact that that fumble could have cost us the game had Brees not sacrificed his body to get the ball. By the way, I don't think Bush has many more than Thomas and he has had a lot more touches. Still, they both need to hold onto the ball.

Were a pass first offense...we take advantage of matchups thats what we do, Pierre got 18 carries against the Jets...and Bush does put the ball on the carpet more often then we like, but its no every single game, but why am I defending him, I dont want this to turn into a Bush thread..we already have 2 going....well, hell, now 3....

It doesn't matter how many fumbles he had prior to this game. He fumbled and it could have cost us. Just like with Bush. We need to be happy that it didn't. And we need to be happy that both Bush and Pierre are running really well and that we're 4-0.

Sorry I can not see the "virus" that coach Payton got. He gave the ball to a no 1 draft RB who fumbled the ball. I do not see any problem with this. Bush needs more touches and confidence. I thought the game plan was excellent. The Saints played a very good team. This was a good test, but admittedly I was nervous. Sanchez gave us the victory. An Eli MAnning will not be as generous

Come on guys. We had equal pass and rush attempts. We played brilliantly. The only problem I had with the calls were the bad short yardage calls and that Payton didn't call for more pass plays on the goal line.

According to stats with all their touches, Bush is 48.8 fumbles per touch and Thomas is 167

Just be glad we pulled through. Coulda woulda shoulda but the fact is... we won.

Bottom line, Payton needs to stop babying Bush and trying to run him up the gut. My god, it ****** me off to no end. We already HAVE a Running Back that can actually get positive yards on every carry.

A few minutes after I made this post Payton miraculously started running the ball with Pierre. He must have read it on his Iphone with Tapatalk. So everyone can thank me, I single handedly saved this game
