Just because the consensus of SR think that doesn't make it true.Because the consensus on SR.com is that Peat is not a good player....the tweet about his injury acknowledged his ability more than the "fans" do, so people don't see this as a loss.
Because it is as big as his arm!Why did I think he injured his thigh?
Well, all the Peat haters get to see if they were right.
One injury at tackle away from starting an UDFA
Two. I'd say Patrick Omameh would get first crack. Why did I think he injured his thigh?

They asked why we signed him because he was a healthy scratch. A lot of money given out to someone that is scratched on game days. That's why you sign these players. Someone on here asked the other day "why did we sign him?". Well he got his answer.
Well would you rather have him now or not have him? You pay a player thinking he may be the starters, not knowing who you going to draft, how training camp competition pans out or who is ready to start Day one. Imagine if McCoy was drafted by someone else and there is no good center in the draft. In drafting McCoy who to say he was ready or be this good? Now him sitting around give teams that options or flexibility when something happens and it just did. These kind of things no one knows till it happen. We can all say whatever at that particular moment, but who to say things worked out the way it did? They asked why we signed him because he was a healthy scratch. We paid a QB more than any other team paid for a backup QB, and cashed in for 5 wins. OL and QB are the two most impossible positions to find replacements for during the season. It's called planning ahead for as many eventualities as you can. Our current record is what it is now because of that. Hope all these "paid for nothing" Olinemen pay off as well as the QB did. They asked why we signed him because he was a healthy scratch. So is he now going to make the game day roster as a backup or as a starter? Not sure what all else your conclusions are asking about.Well would you rather have him now or not have him? That QB you speak of is active on every game day.We paid a QB more than any other team paid for a backup QB, and cashed in for 5 wins. Wouldn’t be fair to the guys that have no chance of playing for their current team and could be a starter on other teams. It would have to be worked out where they weren’t all protected.Really wish the NFL would allow teams to carry 10 lineman as an exception to the roster limit (include d-line) cause of the impact at the line.
