The injuries: For the second straight week the Cowboys report no injuries. Huh? How does that happen at this stage of the season? Nice work, Bill Parcells. New Orleans isn't as fortunate, with receivers Marques Colston (ankle) and Joe Horn (groin) showing up as questionable. Defensive end Will Smith (knee) also is 50-50. Horn and Colston missed practices Wednesday and Thursday. Smith did not and is expected to play.
The story: We have three teams jockeying for one playoff bye (Chicago gets the other), and these are two of them. The Saints are the best story of the season; the Cowboys are the most intriguing. A club that was on the verge of self-destruction, Dallas righted itself with a backup quarterback whose greatest achievement is removing Terrell Owens from the headlines. Thank you, Tony Romo.

I like this tidbit...

The bottom line: Brees has been lights-out in his past five road starts. He's thrown for more than 300 yards in each, with nine touchdowns, one interception and a passer rating of 112.5. Plus, this isn't his first start at Texas Stadium. He won the state championship there as a senior at Westlake High School in 1996.

He didn't predict a winner. That must be an easy article to write. I mean, it isn't like it's hard to find out out what games are being played.
