What's more the wins have come against 3 teams with winning records...Phoenix, Indiana, and Memphis
I think people expected too much early on considering how young they are and how little they have played together. Add to that new coach, new scheme, and covid preventing real training camp, practices, and preseason (not to mention that Zion barely played last season)
The only good pure isolation player we have on offense is BI and Lonzo is about it for a pure man on defender (other than Adams). Now that the players are getting used to each other in the new scheme we are seeing dividends. Team defense has improved greatly and running the offense thru Zion has resulted in more wide open shots from our guards which has resulted in much better efficiency
1.5 games out of playoff seeding as bad as things have been and few teams have as much room to improve as we do. Bledsoe is still way under his normal, Hart and JJ are way under their career averages, Hernangomez just started playing and had made a difference on defense with the reserves, and Kira Lewis will continue to improve
