What's going on with the Pelicans so far? I tried to stream in and I saw no Frank Jackson and I'm hearing the Randle is injured? Is that true?

Okafor AND Jackson sprained their ankles Sunday. Randle had a hard landing on his back last night. None are thought of as being significant. Jackson played a little last night but he was sat just as precautionary from the sprain the night before.

The starters have looked pretty good so far. Jrue is continuing his dominance on both ends of the floor, which is what I was curious about. I think the concept of Jrue "being an all-star in the East" goes to rest this season. Still silky smooth with his drives to the basket. No Nikola yet either.

Pels are looking sloppy tonight. 19 turnovers and they are still in the 3rd quarter. Davis has also played 27 minutes so far.

If two minor ankle sprains are #pelslife this season I'll fracking take it.

Our starters look good together, I am infatuated with our do it bigger lineup with Niko playing the 3. I hope we find a diamond in the rough at the wing. We need to find a way to upgraded our wing cuz solo isn't cutting it.

All things equal the only injury that caused time is okafor and he still may be back by our last preseason game. Turnovers will happen until we get full team passing chemistry on the same page. We have every reason to be excited about this season.

Honestly, I've wanted Payton for 3 years so I am ecstatic. He will bring more offense than rondo and is a great passer too. We have the best roster we have ever had as a team.

Playoff Rondo was money. Either way i'm happy that we have him.

Agreed that playoff rondo was great. The problem is he doesn't bring that same level all year. There were points during the regular season last year where it was clearly better that he was not on the court. Hopefully Payton brings some more consistent play that helps us with seeding. It will be up to the vets who were there last year to show the rest of the guys how to hit that extra gear.
