With interest from both Steelers and Ravens, I wonder if Richard's interested will affect the decisions to be made and the timing.

Never thought he'd be here long as a position coach because he covets a DC gig. He took a year off after Dallas fired him (and Garrett's whole staff) because there were no DC jobs that he could get. Even if he returns to NOLA this year I don't think we'll have him much longer.

I think Allen will be our next coach, but I also wonder the news will create a competition between Kris Richard and Ryan Nielsen for defensive coordinator.

I am not confident we will keep our defensive staff as it is right now.

Neilsen has been wanting a DC gig (per reports). Those 2 would be the logical candidates for our DC position if Allen gets bumped up to HC. But you're right I don't know how we keep the whole staff.
