Saints TE Mark Campbell is fully recovered from the back injury that cut his 2007 season 14 games short.

Campbell needed surgery, but will be ready well before training camp. He is currently second behind Billy Miller on the Saints' depth chart, although the team is still considering re-signing Eric Johnson, a free agent.

Saints LB Dan Morgan (Achilles) is expected to be ready for minicamps.

Morgan's Achilles was only partially torn, but he still needed it surgically repaired. He'll push Scott Shanle to start on the weak side in training camp

Morgan's not going to push Shanle, he's gonna flat out run over him.

I don't think we should bring back Johnson, I think we should draft a tightend and insert him behind Miller and Campbell...Johnson does the same thing Miller does, except Miller gets downfield, both are pass catching tightends...

I fully tore my achilles a year ago... I just got back my confidence in it to "explode" off of it... Morgan should be fine with the 1st class rehab he got. I'm more concerned about the concussions...

I think playing WLB will actually prolong his career. Morgan won't be taking on quite as many head on blocks coming from the outside as he had to do with playing in the middle. I sure hope he can stay healthy, someone get this man one of those new helmets.

how much "exploding" do you do off of a 34 year old knee, saint droopy?

might want to take it easy, tiger...

I think your achilles had more to do with you ankle and the back of the leg than with your knees...
