Is it Gregg Williams' fault for the heavy blitz?

Roman Harper's for biting on the TE?

Sharper's for being a little too out of position to recover?

Or those who were blitzing who didn't put enough pressure on Kolb to keep him from seeing Jackson get wide open?

It's a bad play for us but it's one that happens when you blitz - sometimes - regardless of how good your team is - especially if you're not able to get the QB feeling the pressure.

1. We sent 5 guys, that's not a heavy blitz.

2. Harper bit on the TE, that was a bad defensive play.

3. We should have gotten more pressure on the QB

Bottom line, it was a good designed and executed play by the Eagles. It was just one play, hopefully we learn from it and do better the rest of the game.

Noone was covering Jackson. It was zone all the way...first McCray then Shanle, then Harper.

Harper bit and screwed it up.

You don't want it to happen, but it's going to happen regardless. As long as it doesn't happen again, it's nothing to worry about.

jeffduncantpA bad angle by Roman Harper led to the long TD pass. He was out of position to the make the play. Nice pass by Kolb, though.

Harper (maybe it was not all just Bullocks). He is biting on fakes and taking too long to react to plays. He is having a terrible game. I hope he turns it up in the second half.

I say Gregg Williams. I'm not a fan of letting DeSean Jackson run the whole way across field from the slot on Harper and then deep on Sharper. We need to man up in that situation with a corner

Williams and Harper. Trying to bracket Desean in the slot with two safeties was a mistake given his quickness and speed, and Harper clearly bite and didnt get deep enough to at least make it a difficult pass.

But it happens. Focusing on the "blame game" is silly. Big plays happen. It's when they're a trend that it's an issue, and we have to judge that over the course of more then 1 play.
