The Saints shouldn't be feeling too good about this win because they won the game only by the grace of God. This team lost that game in reality and need to realize how lucky they were to win it and stop acting like idiots and get focused or they'll wind up losing to another chump team along the way and miss the playoffs.

It doesn't get any more real than the scoreboard.

Sad but oh so true. Dude would have been player of the week for that play. Headline would have read...

Despite his crushed and mangled ankle, Favre makes miraculous game winning pitch.

And after the game Favre would have said something like:

You might call it hard headed, you might call it crazy brave or just flat out heroic, but I have just always made that type of play.

How was Jenkins' strip and recovery luck? That looked like hustle, speed, strength and desire to me.

How was Drew's bomb to RM luck? That was speed, skill, execution and courage.

How was LM's TD luck? Sure looked like a great call, a perfect pass and a clutch catch to me.

What? The Saints should feel damn good about this win. Winning despite adversity can be a HUGE confidence booster. Yes they struggled, and it wasn't pretty. But they didn't quit fighting. That was an amazing game. BTW, I wouldn't call forcing 7 fumbles and recovering 2 lucky. The falcons have the horseshoe up their butts this year, not us.

Beating the Cowboys on Thanksgiving in Jerryland coming off a short week? I'll take it. Anybody who thought this game woulnt be close needs to go back to watching High School football. Saints have proven they can win all sorts of ways.

Sheesh dude, you sound like an LSU fan. Everybody knows that unless LSU wins by 30 points, then they actually lost. :jpshakehead:

Seems we forgot about this play as well. I did not see it discussed but here is a great shot of the pitch from Brees.

I was at the game, and from where I was I thought he was sacked.. Then all of a sudden I see the runner and I was like "what the hell happened?!" I thought maybe he fumbled and someone recovered it, but then then showed the replay.. Helluva heads up play, that was one of those where he is a hero or a goat.

I'm out of rep for today. I owe ya.

We're only "lucky" the terrible officiating didn't cost us the game.

I'm pretty sure God doesn't care about a football game. He's got more important things to do.
