Pierre Thomas vs. Adrian Peterson (2 Viewers)

No they are in the same league. You know the one where PT has a championship ring.

:smilielol:Hahahaha Assuming he is joking, that is hilarious.
-They are both in the NFL, PT has a ring, AD doesn't
I don't think he was saying that PT is at the same level as Peterson. He was joking by refuting another poster's statement that Peterson and Thomas aren't even in the same league. Why the neg reps people? See the humor :hihi:

Maybe he's not joking (which would be sad that he actually thinks PT is better), but it's funny either way.

Good argument, but I wouldn't go as far to say any of the backs produce as consistent or provide as much as a threat in terms of rushing yards, rushing td's, receiving yards, and receiving td's as PT has shown.

A lot of these guys can't do certain things that a RB carrying the full load needs to be able to do. I think PT is the closest out of all of those names to warrant consideration for a full time back, because he can do just about everything that's needed from a full time back.

Of course it's still in question whether he can actually hold up and produce at the same level with more carries, but there's honestly no way to predict that.

i'd have to disagree. i'd say ahmed bradshaw. he's a little guy so i wouldn't lean on him for 30+ carries a game and he has to fix his fumbling issues, but he is a playmaker. I said it 3 years ago when he wa sthe 3rd string that he was the best RB on their squad

I love PT... I love that he was undrafted and EARNED his way and playing time... Having said that, if his career to date is any indication, he could NOT hold up, he has not had a healthy NFL season where he's played an entire season without missing games even with limited carries...

i think PT's roll on the team is perfect and the coaches understand what he's capable of... They give him the workload that they think he can handle.... I really doubt he could handle much more then he already has..
