Martin Rucker (TE, Missouri)
Brad Cottam (TE, Tennessee)
Mike Pollak (C, Arizona State)

Alex Serna (K, Oregon State)

Wow, from a fan stand-point you would think we would look at more D players. Think again. Now, I bet theirs other D guys were looking at not listed but I'm kinda surprised.

Maybe they're scouting for the deeper parts of the draft, and the UDFA's?

I could see Eddie Royal being an option somewhere during the draft. He would help out in 2 areas- WR and Special Teams. He got mad return skills.

I really like Rucker and think at some point during the draft we address the TE spot.

Intresting that they are looking at centers. We may resign only Faine or Goodwin and could draft a guy to be a backup.

I could see us addressing the D with the first 2 picks and go for offense the rest of the way. Payton is an offensive guy

LOL!!!

None of the players that many on here (including myself) are not even on that list... Maybe because its early or HOPEFULLY the front office has their eyes on an free agent aquisition...

Or maybe they know what they want on the first day and are sorting out second day picks?

Hopefully NFL-DC will update the list... with todays practice concluded, and if they do I will post the other players the Saints looked at...

But I was looking at the players that they liked...and this Eddie Royal (WR, VA Tech) is a BEAST.

He's a returner as well. I think we could use him with his returner skills, speed, hands and YAC.

These are just seniors, Lee isn't bad though, but there are a lot more juniors and RS sophomores left off the list. Now I wouldn't mind getting Avery or Royal in the second round providing they are there.

if the saints draft offense with the first pick, I'm gonna punch Andrus in the junk...
I'm sorry A, but i have to punch someone and you are the closest to the saints i know at the present time. if my buddy hadn't moved on to bigger and better things, he would get punched. blame him and the front office for the junk punch...

This article says that Lee figures to go late 1st or early 2nd round:

...After Tuesday's practice, representatives from the Washington Redskins, Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints lingered to ask him questions.

"I've met with a whole bunch of teams," said Lee, a 5-foot-11, 194-pounder who finished his senior season with 55 tackles and four interceptions. "They're getting to know me."
