So on Sunday, Titans CB Logan Ryan returned an INT to the end-zone at Cleveland - and he kept running and leapt into the first row of fans. One of them threw his beer into Logan Ryan's face. Ryan didn't like it and has complained about it.
First of all, what's hilarious about that is that the Browns contacted a Cleveland man to inform him that he was banned from the stadium . . . when, in fact, the man hadn't been to a Browns game since 2010! https://www.clevescene.com/scene-an...ng-beer-on-titans-player-ban-him-from-stadium
But a better question, I think, is whether the Browns should have done anything at all. Clearly you can't have fans throwing things at players - generally speaking. But if an opposing player does a Lambeau Leap into the lap of a fan at his own home stadium, hasn't the player at least taken on some risk that he's gonna get a beer in his face?? It's not going to injure the player - it's just beer.
I think I'm with the fan on this one. Get your INT. Celebrate with your fans. Don't come jumping up here in our house.
