The Saints can clinch their first division title since 2000 with:

1. NO win, OR
2. NO tie + ATL loss or tie, OR
3. ATL loss + CAR loss or tie.

New Orleans earns a first-round bye with:

1. NO win + DAL loss (at ATL) + NYG loss (PHI) or tie + SEA loss (49ers).

The Saints can clinch a playoff berth with:

1. NO tie, OR
2. MIN loss or tie + PHI loss, OR
3. MIN loss or tie + CAR loss or tie, OR
4. MIN loss or tie + DAL loss + PHI/NYG tie.

I think Dallas will lose, Philly is hot right now and playing good ball, only one that is a stretch for us to get a first round buy and home field is Seattle and the 49ers. I say come on Alex Smith and Frank Gore...

Saints Banner

It sure is going to be nice to add a NFC South Champions banner to the rafters of the Superdome.

I wonder if they would have the banner ready for unveiling for the Panthers game.

I think that is unlikely but what a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just thought I would Bump this since it looks as if it might come true with Seattle losing at home tonight. I really believe Giants will lose and ATL needs to step up big at home...GO FALCLOWNS!!!

The big one we need to be pulling for is Philly over the Giants. The Giants are really the biggest threat to the Saints right now, as far as the bye in the playoffs. The Saints still have to play the Giants, so with a win they would have the tie breaker advantage over us. Plus, I believe they have the tie breaker with Dallas, so the Giants could certainly still win that division. The Saints own the tie-breaker with Dallas and Philly by virtue of beating them. With Seatle out of the picture, a Giants lose would really open the door for the Saints to clinch this thing.
