Every game I put together some definitive objectives that our team should meet for us to win. (It's just a stat thing that I keep during the game to satisfy myself. But, typically, these ojectives indicate the outcome of the game.)
This week against the Ravens, I set six (6) objectives: (We failed on all 6!)
1st: The Saints Not to Lose the T.O. Tally (1 to 5 equates to -4 TO's)
2nd: Our Defense Forces 4 Three & Outs for Balt.'s Offense (we only had 1)
3rd: Goal is for Deuce to Get 80yds. Rushing (Deuce get's only 11)
4th: Hopefully, Reggie Accounts for 100 all purp.yrds. (he got 21)
5th: Brees Should Complete 65% of his Passes (he completed 53%)
6th: We Score 24 points or more (22)
P.S. Note to Self: Stop setting objectives.
And don't blame the bad performance on the bye week... Kudos to the Ravens!
