Different place, but appears to be the same family.

IIRC the ex-wife has the one in Mandeville and the ex-husband has the one in Covington.

Bear's if definitely good but definitely in Covington.

There's actually one in Covington, Mandeville, and there's another one on Hwy 190 in Slidell now as well.

You can't go wrong with Bear's. Roast Beef po boys there can't be beat. Shrimp po boys are pretty good too.

The shrimp was pretty darn good. Real close to my favorite which is the Ole Tyme Grocery shrimp poboy. Roast beef was good but I prefer a thicker sauce. Still good. They do put plenty of meat.

Go to Bear's. Their poboys are phenomenal. They're on one of the service roads, but you can google the directions.

Bear's is the place. I would live on the roast beef if I could. Went to school with Josh, a real good guy.
