I don't like it when people think something is fine for you to eat, drink, or use just because its all natural.
You know what is all natural? snake venom, poison ivy, hemlock, lead, mercury...

Sodas themselves have become so taboo that they will darn near give you as much of it as you can drink at certain places just to keep your addiction up. The establishments want you to have it just to get you in the door to buy other things. It’s like when people stopped buying magazines at five bucks a pop but the magazines still need their advertising dollars so if you look in the right place you can get a year subscription for a little bit of nothing.

im looking at you 99 cent 64 oz Big Gulp. Who needs a bucket of diabetes

$0.79 any size Polar Pop at Circle K has the Big Gulp beat.

But, yeah. The way I look at it with club soda is "Would they charge me for this if I ordered it at a bar?" and I've never been charged for a club soda at a bar so I'd take it for free from a self-serve fountain. I have only been charged for something non-alcoholic - like a Coke - at a bar if it was bottled, not if it comes out of the gun.

yea I’m not knocking people who do. I still have my vices (I’m looking at you ice cream). It’s the state of their marketing though. They have been in a frenzie to figure out a way to get another generation hooked because most parents these days don’t let their kids get hooked like our generation was.

I love going to New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Co. and Jason's Deli for the free ice cream as much as I do the food.

unfortunately, most restaurants don't have irish liquid gold on tap, especially carbonated, as an option on the soda/pop machine.

They overcharge so much for Soda, that even if you filled your cup with Mountain Dew, you shouldn't feel the need to go to confessional over it.
