The Chic Fil A sandwich is not really good at all. Slightly better than microwaving a tyson frozen breast.

I went to see what the fuss was all about, since I've been making Popeyes sandwiches and even chicken noodle soup for a good 20 years now.

I rolled up after work to a line of cars a good 8 deep, which was odd for that Providence location. They didn't post the sign proclaiming the sandwiches to be sold out until cars were deep by the ordering console, so I was trapped and had to order a standard 10 piece with mac & cheese...

I was assuming they all had mac & cheese by now, so wasn't clear on your question.
I don't get beans anymore, since they always give a couple spoons of beans with the rest being rice. Id try to mix it, yet half the rice flies out of the cup. Plus the beans cost as much as chicken..

Me and a couple guys at work actually cooked somethin up about Canes cuz of this. Get the 3 piece combo with an extra Texas toast. Take two strips and make a sandwich with the Texas toasts and put the Cane sauce on it. Even if it's bad you got one strip and fries to make up for it. But given the obvious circumstances that would be stupid delicious and I am fully trying that before the week is out.

If it has canes sauce on it is bad.

Nope. Never seen it. I think KFC had it on the buffet but I haven't been to one since high school. I think they had it then.

And we are in a country that eats more macaroni and cheese than anywhere in the world - Canadians eat 55% more than Americans - and I've never seen a Popeye's up here with mac and cheese, either.

Ill look to see if each of the 4 Popeyes in our area has mac & cheese. The site wont let me click the order button since theyre closed. I know Popeyes mac & cheese is better than KFC, though

I love both places. CFA has an amazing chicken sandwich, service is the best in the fast food industry and it isn't even close. CFA has great lemonade as well. I am going to go try this Popeyes sandwich today and I expect it to be good, but the Popeyes by my house leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to spicy. They actually hand out packets of something called "sparkle" seasoning to spice up the chicken.

Ok so I arrived 15 mins after opening at another near my house. The line was a good 20 deep inside. People were commenting on how crowded popeyes is these days. They were swift serving, yet kept skipping over people. I was number 91 and had to go inquire about my order after they'd hit 98. By this time the line had dwindled to about 3 and no new people were coming in. I guess people had the same idea to hit em as they open. I bought 4 spicy.

I knew this sandwich would be good as I nibbled the piece of chicken sticking out of the bun. I ate one and put some swiss on the others. Well worth the trouble of trying one or three.

BTW: This location also had mac & cheese. Contact your local Reps to look into this issue.
No man should go without Popeyes mac & cheese.
