Mitchell Loewen was the third DT in the rotation; he has a great chance of making the roster assuming he is healthy.

I mostly agree but one big difference is that I think the Saints will carry 5 RBs instead of 6 WRs. The reason is that either Victor or Edmunds is making this team. Both of them were far too dominant last night; whichever doesn't crack the 53 will get stashed on the practice squad. And frankly none of our lower WRs have impressed. The team has carried 5 RBs to start the season before so it's not completely unheard of.

Several good improvements, yet a very familiar lineup. I'm hoping for a bit more of a shakeup, just 1-2 players.

It's going to be hard keeping Vito Victor off the final 53. He was a bowling ball last night.

Almost exactly what I'd say. A few changes though.

OUT:
Fuller - hasn't shown enough in a game yet.
One of the bottom two DTs - we've got enough DEs that can reduce.

IN:
Muhammad & Gwachum - I think we keep both.
Breaux (he'll return and I don't think they'll use an IR spot)

yes but they have to go to the active 53 man roster I think.

Thanks!

I believe they can but they have to add them to the 53 man roster. Victor would never see the field unless we had an injury to Ingram, Kamara or Peterson.

I know his is a good problem to have but we got to find a way to keep this dude. Ughhhh.

I don't think Harris makes the team. Banjo makes it because of this special teams play

So,... you're saying that Harris will be dueling Banjo. :hihi:

(I couldn't resist) :shy:

You definitely CAN have 5 RBs on the roster and this team has done that before.

As much as I like Victor and Edmunds (I actually think Edmunds would be an excellent FB down the road), I seriously doubt either makes the final 53. They may both go to the PS though. Neither would be picked up by anyone.
