Let's stop the doom and gloom. We're 6-3 and on top of our division still. The steelers were a desperate SB Champ team that fought tooth and nail and squeaked away.
Lets look at some positives from the game:
* Marques Colston - not only ROY, but a starting caliber WR whose play has made him a top ten WR in the league this year.
* Drew Brees is outstanding
* Charles Grant played outstanding. He has been a force this year.
* Our O-line is solid yet again
* Reggie made strides in his running game this week. He is starting to make his cuts upfield, and taking what the D gives him.
* Scott Fujita is still playing solid football. He is by far our best LB
* Duece is still good for 4-5 yds per carry. How bout some more touches?
***It is evident so far that this team can compete with any team in the league. There isn't a team in the NFL that will overpower or out match us. We just need to take care of the ball.
We will bounce back against Cincy next week. This team is still evolving as a whole, but I see individuals (Colston, Brees, Bush, Fujita, etc.) that look better and better every week. This team will take this loss and learn...........
