NEW ORLEANS &#8211; With the NFL Draft two months away, former Tulane University football standout Ryan Griffin increased his chances of hearing his named called during the three-day event after claiming MVP honors of the Sixth Annual Texas vs. The Nation All-Star Game over the weekend in Allen, Texas.
Ryan earned the honor after completing 14-of-18 passes for 214 yards and a pair of touchdowns while leading the National All-Stars to a 24-13 win over Team Texas. The native of Westlake Village, Calif., was a four-year starter under center during his career with the Green Wave from 2009-12 when he totaled 9,026 yards and 56 scores while completing 836-of-1396 passes.
