i dont know how i'd feel about drafting 31st, even with all of the extra acquired picks from the niners. there would still be solid players sure, but no impact players left

I agree that 31st is a bit low but look at our track record of first round picks vs later rounds. I would take my chances on picking up 2 extra picks.

Lets just take a quick look:
Late rounds - Jimmy Graham, Jahri Evans, Carl Nicks, Jermon Bushrod, Marques Colston

First rounders: PRob, Malcolm Jenkins, Robert Meachem, Sedrick Ellis

I like our chances with later picks.

yes, absolutely trade down with sf. However, austin in anywhere would be scary.
