As we get closer to free agency, the rumors start having some substance. There are talks of Kawhi and KD teaming up. With Kyrie going to Brooklyn, that could only happen in NY or LAC. Kawhi isn't going to NY, so that leaves LA Clippers. In order to do it, LA would have to lose Gallinari's salary. He fits perfectly with what we're trying to do and we have the draft assets and cap space to get it done.
He's on an expiring contract, so it's a one year trial. I think he'll love playing here because he has a ton of help defensively and a ton of space offensively. Perhaps, we offer them two or three seconds.
