That's a sweet highlight video.

I did notice all his plays were to the outside. Not too many slants or drags routes. Plenty enough speed to stretch the field.

Why didn't we give this guy more returns in preseason?

It looks like Calhoun was a UDFA signed and cut by Chicago this year and Lutz was a UDFA signed and cut by the Ravens this year.

Anybody have any information on them?

BTW, I find it interesting that we picked up a kicker for the practice squad.

Taveze was a solid player at MSU. I'm not as "on it" as some of y'all on here...a passionate fan, but I'm admittedly in it for the emotion as opposed to the analytics.

My impression is that he had a nose for the ball, good size, wasn't afraid of contact and was a sneaky good cover guy.

With television coverage, it's so hard to get a feel for what these guys do in terms of playing within a scheme. From the proscenium view available, he made ish happen to when he was in the screen. He didn't strike me as particularly "athletic", but made plays - which gives me the thought that he has an understanding of the game.

From what I recall, he was considered a good teammate and I don't remember anyone impugning his character at any point.

As a bulldog fan, I would love to see someone from our 2014 team make it in the black and gold. Hated to see eulls go...
